Planned Litters

Planned Litters for the first half of 2025

  • Cuckoo - F1 Small Standard Bordoodle litter
Chachi & Cuckoo have dated and we hope to welcome their first litter of Bordoodles together. These puppies are expected to make 25-28kg. Potential colours are chocolate, chocolate merle & caramel. All puppies are expected to have white markings. The photos on this page are of previous Chachi puppies but the colour in Cuckoo's litter will be different due to their colour genetics. These puppies will be due in the first week of March and be ready to go to their forever homes in May.

  • Pelican - F1b Medium Bordoodle Litter. This litter we hope to have in the first half of 2025 but may be pushed back to the second half of the year.

If you're interested in finding out more information about our process and joining the waiting list for our Bordoodles then please fill out our online enquiry form on the Contact Us page or email us at irisoodles@gmail.com to tell us a bit about yourself and the home you're offering to a puppy. Alternatively you can also message us via our Instagram page where we post regular updates. There is a link at the bottom of the page. We do also have Facebook but the majority of our posts and followers are on Instagram.

Please note we are on holidays from the 21st of January to the 4th of February. We will respond to your Bordoodle enquiry when we return.

We breed Bordoodles for people that love Border Collies but that don't have the backyard or time to exercise them appropriately. They are also great for people that can't cope with the hair whether it be due to allergies or just having to vacuum all the time! Bordoodles combine two of the most intelligent breeds to produce dogs that are very smart, willing, loyal and that love to please their owners. We use show lined Border Collie's in our breeding to make our Bordoodles suitable for average families in backyard homes. We find this a better combination than when breeding with working lined Border Collies.

Puppies are raised in our home on acreage and are exposed to different animals, vehicles, weather and surfaces, as well as noises they will experience in their new homes like the kettle, vacuum etc. We take our litters for car rides and outings in a safe, controlled environment to expose them to street noises, crowds, new smells etc.

We keep our puppies with us until they are 9 weeks old to give them an extra week of handling, socialising, exposure activities and extra maturity. They will have begun crate training and dog door exposure prior to going to their new homes and toilet training via artificial grass and on the lawn. We feel this extra week with us and all the work we do with them in the first 9 weeks really sets our puppies up for a smooth transition into their forever homes.

Puppies will come microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and health checked. Puppies will come with a great puppy pack to get them started which includes a bag of premium gluten free kibble "Lifewise", Lyka human grade dog food, worming/flea, toys, grooming items and some other surprise goodies! A folder with information to help you transition your new puppy into their home will also be provided.

The puppies come with 6 weeks pet insurance, a 2 year health guarantee for genetic issues and both parents have been DNA health tested clear for testable genetic hereditary conditions.

We put a lot of time and love into setting our puppies up for their life with their new families. We make sure everything is done right from day one. We want them to be happy, well rounded dogs that bring happiness, love and laughter into your home.
